Oliver Wolf Sacks, CBE (9 July 1933 – 30 August 2015) was an English neurologist and author, known for writing best-selling case histories of his patients’ disorders.
Some of his books have been adapted for film and stage.
I still remember his books on which I have been studying that I simply loved them like:
– Awakenings (1973) with Robin Williams, as main actor
– A Leg to Stand On (1984)
– The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat (1985)
that thought so much to me about mental disorder and to look at that in a different way!
Thank you Professor, rest in peace!
