Psycho-Therapy for Individual
T he Individual Psychotherapy is a path that starts at the request and consent of the patient, as result of some explorative and diagnostic sessions as initial Intakes.
After studying and specializing myself using different theoretical approaches, I had to come to define my theoretical approach as eclectic (ie: my professional experience and orientation allows me to tailor my approach on the specific needs of the client). My professional experiences and theory provided to me some knowledge on experimenting different theoretical models from the psycho-dynamic to the Systemic Relational to the Cognitive Behavioral, ending to the post modern theories such as person-centered therapy, Narrative, etc …!
The therapeutic process requires weekly meetings between the client and the chosen psychotherapist.
In the therapeutic relationship the encounter between Client and Therapist happens in a shared and rigid setting of mutual knowledge creating a path of a shared space and mutual knowledge in which two people are placed one in front of each other in an equal level, respecting of their mutual subjectivity and their personal value.
The Psychotherapeutic interaction creates a special bond and alliance between client and therapist that enables the development of a work project in collaboration for a common goal: the knowledge and self-acceptance with a consequent improved ability to relate with people that matter in our life.
Each session is based primarily on the exploration of unresolved issues from our past that affect significant and current experiences; the therapist takes responsibility to help the client to get in touch with his own emotions, learning how to recognize them, managing and using them to relate in a more appropriate way with family members, friends and co-workers.
